Another weekend, another UFC fight card, this time the Octagon heads to Brazil with a former Lightweight Champion looking to stay undefeated in his home country.
Charles Oliveira will take on Polish fighter Mateusz Gamrot in a five-round Lightweight showdown. Oliveira is coming off a loss to Illia Topuria for the Lightweight Championship. The Brazilian fighter has won two of his last five fights, but fighting in his home country will no doubt spur him on.

Gamrot has been beaten by Dan Hooker (at UFC 305) and Beneil Dariush (at UFC 280). A win over Oliveira will help get that unwanted stat off his back and get him closer to a title shot.
Former Flyweight Champion turned Bantamweight Deiveson Figueiredo and number 15-ranked Montel Jackson will meet in the co-main event. Figueiredo has lost back-to-back fights. Those losses weren’t just to old fighters; they were to Cory Sandhagen and Petr Yan. A win for Figueiredo here will get him back on track.

A win over Figueiredo will move him closer to the top 10, which is a good thing with current champion Merab Dvalishvili looking damn near unbeatable at the moment.
Australian fighters Kaan Ofli and Stewart Nicoll are also fighting on this card.
