UFC Fight Night: Ulberg vs Reyes

Aussie MMA fans rejoice, the Octagon touches down in Perth, with New Zealand Fighter Carlos Ulberg taking on former Light Heavyweight title challenger, Dominick Reyes.

Ulberg has won eight fights in a row; his last loss was his first fight post Dana White’s Contender Series to Kennedy Nzechukwu at UFC 259. Ulberg’s previous win was over former Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz. A win over Reyes will get him a step closer to a title shot.

After winning 12 fights, Reyes took on the Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones. In a fight many thought he had won, Reyes would lose by unanimous decision. The Brazilian would lose his next three fights to Blachowicz, Jiri Prochazka and Ryan Spann. Since the loss to Spann, Reyes has won three fights in a row. No doubt he will be back in the title picture if he can defeat Ulberg.

There is plenty of Aussie talent on the card, with Jimmy Crute in the co-main event, Jack Jenkins, and Jake Matthews.
